Texture Spectrum: Find Your Texture
Kinky:
Kinky hair is tightly coiled with a zig-zag pattern throughout. it can be soft and spongy, coarse and wiry, or thick and fine. it may appear to be resilient and tough, but it is the most fragile texture. Kinky hair requires extreme hydration to keep it soft and pliable - so it can form a neat, defined curl pattern.

Curly:
Curly hair is spirally and loopy with a defined s-pattern. it can be dense with abundant strands, fine and light, coarse and ropy, or soft and springy.

Wavy:
Where curly hair ends, wavy hair begins. Wavy hair also has a definitive s-pattern but lays closer to the head. it can also be characterized as a fine, flexible texture with lots of buoyant, light curls or thicker, loosely defined waves.
