I was always looking for the perfect product for my curly hair, I will pay top dollar for shampoos and conditioners and styling products that NEVER delivered as I have tried them all. I NEVER had the amazing results as I have when I use Hair Rules. I am addicted to the Daily Cleansing cream no suds shampoo, my hair feels like silk, not like straw, the Quench Conditioner is amazing, no tangles what so ever combing out is a breeze. Curly Whip is my DRUG; I am addicted to it, easy to apply and my hair soooooo wavy bouncy and shiny, and the next day a dab of Hydrating Finishing Cream and my waves spring to life, soft and manageable. I am so impressed with these products. I tried the small sizes at Ulta in hopes to find something that would help me with my 19 month old's kinky curly hair that is very thick and long. I tried sooooo many products over the year and a half and it was beginning to get hopeless. It became a struggle to do her hair because nothing worked. These products are great!!!

My curls have you to thank, because I decided if I didn't like this product I would go ahead and just permanently straighten my hair because I'm sick of wasting so much money on products that don't work. Well, lucky for me and my curls we both fell in love with this stuff! I love how easy it is to apply, I mean it saves so much time being able to style my hair in the shower! I started my loose natural journey in May 2010 after 10 years of wearing Sisterlocks. Determined to not destroy my virgin hair, I read your book Hairrules and Curly Like Me by Teri Leflesh to devise a plan before committing. Both books CHANGED MY LIFE. I am now 6 months loose natural and LOVE MY HAIR. The Kinky Curling Cream is my winter essential as I can go about 7-10 days without having to wash and set it again.I prefer Curly Whip in the warmer seasons as it gets the job done nicely when I know I am washing my hair every 5-7 days. Who knew that wash and wear hair is actually a reality for us tight curlies! I love it when folks come up to me and swear that I have a texturizer and I let them down gently by explaining what it looks like when I don't use the curling creme. It took me a few sessions to truly understand Your meaning of product saturation.Once I perfected saturating the product on my water saturated hair and 15 minutes to dry the product clear with a diffuser attachment; the rest was SUPER EASY; consistent results every time just as you advertise. Gorgeous,soft, loopy defined curls that last up to 10 days (on my head) with just a morning spritz of water and a light finger fluff. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! WORTH EVERY PENNY! Aloha! I have 4A hair and have been natural for 1 year now. I have used several products for 4A hair and have been doing the "cone free" thing. I have been co-washing, and using various oils, leave ins, and gels to define my curls from fuzzy to curly. I realizeed I was not ever to have the elongated, bouncy, spiral curls seen in magazines, or t.v. True many products I have used give me "some" definition...BUT NOT like this!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set I found on HSN. True is was a while ago, the set included the Daily Cleansing Cream, Quench Conditioner, & Curly Whip. I used them all before I left the shower, and BOOM! Bouncy, Sprial, curls...on MY HEAD!! OH Dickey bring this set back to HSN, the set of the three 8 oz bottles was like krazy good..$30.00...you did this set close to the holidays last year so can you do it again this year for 2010? If not I will still buy from your site. These products are the BOMB DIGGITY. Keep doin what you doin...

I'm 20, and I've been perming my hair for about 10 years now. Once I decided I didn't want to perm my hair anymore, I tried to go natural. It was a MESS. I ended up wearing hats (even in the HUMID NYC summers) and was miserable. I finally decided to get a texturizer, but I left it in too long. Just when I thought that my hair would NEVER look good, I discovered your products. The first time I tried Hair Rules I was not successful with the kinky curling cream, so the products when on the shelf for 8 months. I proceeded to buy every product on the market. Recently, while watching a video, I decided to try the curly whip. What a miracle. After purchasing all those products I've come full circle back to Hair Rules. With experience I've come to understand my hair texture and what it will and will not do, and whether a product is actually helping. It's all about healthy hair and these products are great. The curly whip is the first product that did what I want. It defined the curls, removed frizz, gave movement and body and moisture without grease, oils, butters, or gels.

I wanted to write this to let everyone at Hair Rules know that i LOVE your products. Nothing works like yours do; i have really thick,curly hair and you keep it soft and silky with plenty of bounce.I use a combination of all the products and each one brings out a different kind of curl in my hair. The wavy mousse give me looser curls and the culry whip makes them bigger and bouncier! The curly whip makes my natural medium curl form perfectly. I can't say enough good things.

I had been wearing weaves for about a year and a half and when I started my hair was short and hadn't been relaxed for about 2 months. My girlfriend had gone to a hair show and heard about your products and said she was going to try them. I decided to try them myself, afraid because I hadn't seen my real hair in over a year I took my weave out and used the Daily Cleansing Cream followed by the Quench Conditioner, and the Curly Whip needless to say when I went to work the next day I was flooded with compliments on how cute my hair was, and asked the question was it mine or a wig. I am a 32 year old biracial women, mixed with Black and East Indian. Growing up my mom never knew what to do with my hair, so I never know what to do with it either. For a long time I didn't like my curls...I thought my hair was too big...too frizzy. Product after product promised to give me moisturized defined curls. Nothing worked. But I am determined so I kept trying. Finally I found Hair Rules! This product makes me want to love my curls...my uniqueness because it makes them so healthy. Even when I flat iron my hair it looks great! I live in Hampton Roads, VA and it can get very humid here...Well with this product the humidity doesn't even affect my hair!!! It is astounding!!!
I have tried lots of products for curly hair and nothing compares! I love that you have the different products for different hair types. I am glad you have a product for straightening too. Even though I have curly hair I like to flat iron mine from time to time too ;)

We all know HR rocks. I wanted to share a tip. Water. I have to apply in the shower for great results. The more water the more elongated. Then after applying I dip my hair under the shower for maximum elongation and curl. I wrap in a tee shirt for 30 to 45 min, and after maybe 20 min under a dryer, I'm done. Before this method of dipping under the shower and wrapping in tee shirt I was sitting under a dryer for 1.5 hours. Too much product. Now I get great definition, no crunch, no producty feel, and with such a short drying time I can shampoo whenever I want. I love you, Dickie.
Also I'd like to ask if Hair Rules would put up a forum. We are a very select group, and there's not a lot of info in the curly community on this product. We could share.

I am Caucasian and had thin, fine,stick-straight hair until I went through menopause 2 years ago. Now I have thin, fine, curly hair which I color. During the past 2 years I stripped my color and dried out my hair by washing my hair daily with the wrong shampoos, and used as many as 4 styling products at a time. I discovered a display of sample products of Hair Rules at my local Ulta store, and I'm really impressed with the ease of use, gentleness and simplcity of Daily Cleansing Cream and Curly Whip. I also bought Blow Out Your Curls for the rare occasion when I will do a blow-out; I expect similar great results.
I went to your web site because I wanted to find out more about the people behind the products. The demo videos are quite helpful. Best wishes for continued success. (My daughter lives in New York. If I go visit her, how many weeks in advance would I have to book an appointment at your salon??)

Hair Rules products are by far the best I have ever tried. I don't mind paying for good product. I used to get a relaxer once every year or two just to relax my curls so I could control them. The last treatment was October of 2007 and I did the chop in 2009. It is all mine and almost below my chin. I love both kinky curling cream and curly whip. I especially like the curly whip for summer because I feel like it is a bit lighter than the kinky curling cream. I am mixed asian/black and I have coarse, wiry, kinky, frizzy, curly, thin hair! I find if I put on product on dripping wet hair, the better the curl pattern. I just ordered a hood dryer so I'm excited to see how that goes. I use the entire line from the shampoos to the finishing cream. I love the travel sizes too!

Hair Rules cleanser, conditioner and curly whip loves my hair and I am thrilled to have found the perfect product line for me.
My point: I have been in search for the past 2 years, since moving back East, and finally found it…
My hair personality: and it does have a mind of its own… curly, long, dry and brittle on the ends tendency. I have grey so I color and highlight every-so-often to brighten. Other than that, we’re low maintenance. I wash and wear or put it in a bun, therefore my hair is ultimately healthy. It could use a trim/slight layering, but cutting even an inch results in three inches because of its curl and has frizz tendencies dependent upon climate.
Hair Rules product line makes my hair feel like butter; it hydrates and creates curl ringlet’s naturally… and the scent is fresh!
In my opinion, it’s scientifically perfected on every level signifying quality. If you have hair characteristics that need taming, I give it my highest recommendation.

I love HR. I love my hair feel when I use the products. And how soft my hair feels when I wake up in the morning. The curly whip really defines the coils in my hair. Your system makes it easy to maintain my natural and I rarely have to refresh in the middle of the day. I am also glad the HR system is now offered at Breauty Brands so I dont have to wait for mail delivery to reup on products.

I absolutely love the HR product line. I wore locs for 7 years and did the big chop about 2.5 mths ago. The gentleman used HR curly whip after he cut my hair and I remembered the product name. I came home and googled the product and found the HR website. I now use the whole line starting with the shampoo and finishing with the finishing cream. My hair is so soft and curly that i find myself constantly running my hands through it to feel the softness. i have experimented and learned when and how to use each of the products as I don't need to use the whole line everyday. It is wonderful, I am a natural type girl and am so happy that someone found a product that enables us curly hair sisters to be natural. For over a year I have refused to come into this shop simply because it was expensive. For over year I have complained about my hair.
