I was always looking for the perfect product for my curly hair, I will pay top dollar for shampoos and conditioners and styling products that NEVER delivered as I have tried them all. I NEVER had the amazing results as I have when I use Hair Rules. I am addicted to the Daily Cleansing cream no suds shampoo, my hair feels like silk, not like straw, the Quench Conditioner is amazing, no tangles what so ever combing out is a breeze. Curly Whip is my DRUG; I am addicted to it, easy to apply and my hair soooooo wavy bouncy and shiny, and the next day a dab of Hydrating Finishing Cream and my waves spring to life, soft and manageable. I usually do not send messages regarding products that I like but I had to make the exception for the Hair Rules products that I am currently in LOVE with. My hair is natural and I often blow dry it semi-straight and with your products this process is ever so easy. Aloha! I have 4A hair and have been natural for 1 year now. I have used several products for 4A hair and have been doing the "cone free" thing. I have been co-washing, and using various oils, leave ins, and gels to define my curls from fuzzy to curly. I realizeed I was not ever to have the elongated, bouncy, spiral curls seen in magazines, or t.v. True many products I have used give me "some" definition...BUT NOT like this!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set I found on HSN. True is was a while ago, the set included the Daily Cleansing Cream, Quench Conditioner, & Curly Whip. I used them all before I left the shower, and BOOM! Bouncy, Sprial, curls...on MY HEAD!! OH Dickey bring this set back to HSN, the set of the three 8 oz bottles was like krazy good..$30.00...you did this set close to the holidays last year so can you do it again this year for 2010? If not I will still buy from your site. These products are the BOMB DIGGITY. Keep doin what you doin...

The first time I tried Hair Rules I was not successful with the kinky curling cream, so the products when on the shelf for 8 months. I proceeded to buy every product on the market. Recently, while watching a video, I decided to try the curly whip. What a miracle. After purchasing all those products I've come full circle back to Hair Rules. With experience I've come to understand my hair texture and what it will and will not do, and whether a product is actually helping. It's all about healthy hair and these products are great. The curly whip is the first product that did what I want. It defined the curls, removed frizz, gave movement and body and moisture without grease, oils, butters, or gels.

I first grew my perm out in 2008. Its been long journey looking for the perfect product to tame my unruly natural curls. And i'm sooo happy that i came across Hair Rules for kinky hair. My natural hair texture is 3C but extremely thick. My main problem with my curls were the frizz factor. Hair Rules definitely helped construct my curls, lock them in and keep all the frizz out. I tried all of your competitors well-known curly creams and butters with varying degrees of success, but your kinky-curly line is unsurpassed! I had been wearing weaves for about a year and a half and when I started my hair was short and hadn't been relaxed for about 2 months. My girlfriend had gone to a hair show and heard about your products and said she was going to try them. I decided to try them myself, afraid because I hadn't seen my real hair in over a year I took my weave out and used the Daily Cleansing Cream followed by the Quench Conditioner, and the Curly Whip needless to say when I went to work the next day I was flooded with compliments on how cute my hair was, and asked the question was it mine or a wig. I laughed and told them "this is the real me" and they said I should've been wearing my real hair all along. I work at a beauty supply store and we were lucky enough to have two of your fabulous representatives come out and give us a class on your products. Now as a woman with relaxed (not curly, but kinky in-between relaxers) hair, I was at first thinking that these products would do nothing for my hair. But I received the Blow out your Kinks as a prize and I love it! When I tried the Nourishment Leave in Conditioner, I initially found it not moisturizing enough. But your wonderful ladies told me to try the Quench Conditioner then use the Leave in. I am absolutely hooked on this stuff now! Most leave in conditioners weigh my hair down, making it look terrible and hard. Using both products now leaves my hair so soft, shiny, bouncy, hydrated and it smells incredible! My fiance can't keep his hands out of my hair. Thank you Mr. Dickey and the wonderful ladies who suggested everything to me!

I am a 32 year old biracial women, mixed with Black and East Indian. Growing up my mom never knew what to do with my hair, so I never know what to do with it either. For a long time I didn't like my curls...I thought my hair was too big...too frizzy. Product after product promised to give me moisturized defined curls. Nothing worked. But I am determined so I kept trying. Finally I found Hair Rules! This product makes me want to love my curls...my uniqueness because it makes them so healthy. Even when I flat iron my hair it looks great! I live in Hampton Roads, VA and it can get very humid here...Well with this product the humidity doesn't even affect my hair!!! It is astounding!!!
I have tried lots of products for curly hair and nothing compares! I love that you have the different products for different hair types. I am glad you have a product for straightening too. Even though I have curly hair I like to flat iron mine from time to time too ;)

I was rushing to my computer to write my testimonial. I just received my package today and used my products. I am literally almost in tears. I didn't know my natural hair could do this. NEVER EVER has a cleanser detangled my hair PRE conditioner! I have spent so much money trying counter and salon products that made my hair dry, greesy, frizzy or sticky. I am a black female, some of my curls are crayon size and some of them are fatter (just depends on the day) I use the "curl" products from Dickeys’ collection and they absolutely do exactly what he said! My hair is FRIZZ FREE and my curls are very well defined. the styling products holds my curls but doesn’t leave them stiff and stale. This product doesn’t cost nearly as much as other salon brands, and it works better then any other product that I have tried. My co workers and family are now hooked as well! I have been natural for almost 3 years and I have had bad experiences with hairstylists. I had my hair straightened and trimmed last year November. Unfortunately, my hair was burned badly. I refused to see another hairstylist.
I went to Circle of Sisters and met your lovely reps and Jasmine convinced me of trying Hair Rules. I went today for my first hair cut all year. Dailey was my hairstylist and she was great. She showed me how to wash and condition my hair. She explained my texture and what will work for my hair. She used the daily cleansing cream, quench deep conditioner, nourishment leave conditioner, curly whip, and hydrating finishing cream. My natural curls look great! My hair feels so soft! I am very happy with the end result!
Before I left, I made two more appts with Dailey for the future. I plan to continue to get my hair trimmed every three months. I loved the way my hair feels and my experience at Hair Rules Salon!!!

Hair Rules cleanser, conditioner and curly whip loves my hair and I am thrilled to have found the perfect product line for me.
My point: I have been in search for the past 2 years, since moving back East, and finally found it…
My hair personality: and it does have a mind of its own… curly, long, dry and brittle on the ends tendency. I have grey so I color and highlight every-so-often to brighten. Other than that, we’re low maintenance. I wash and wear or put it in a bun, therefore my hair is ultimately healthy. It could use a trim/slight layering, but cutting even an inch results in three inches because of its curl and has frizz tendencies dependent upon climate.
Hair Rules product line makes my hair feel like butter; it hydrates and creates curl ringlet’s naturally… and the scent is fresh!
In my opinion, it’s scientifically perfected on every level signifying quality. If you have hair characteristics that need taming, I give it my highest recommendation.

I had to write to let you know what an amazing experience I had at Hair Rules yesterday. I had an appointment for a haircut and my original stylist did not come in and Dickey graciously stepped in. Dickey took the time to explain all the rules for maintaining my natural curly hair and introduced me to his colorist, Amy, who spent a great deal of time giving me tips on how to color my hair. The entire staff at Hair Rules made this experience a true pleasure. Everyone was so attentive, warm and personable!!! The products are fantastic! My hair feels and looks AMAZING!!! I was out of town in Biloxi Miss. to see Musiq Soulchild. Equipped with only a lacefront and no natural hair products I had a change of mind and decided NOP I miss my natural curls (4 whatever) and I wanted to rock them. Couldn't really find a beauty supply store that catered to AA. So my hubbs found and ULTA and lord behold I found Hair rules. I had remembered Taren916 experience and decided what the fudge. LUV it. I mean curl definition and shine....I am and was on point for the concert. I'm hooked and will keep this product in my stash.....

I love HR. I love my hair feel when I use the products. And how soft my hair feels when I wake up in the morning. The curly whip really defines the coils in my hair. Your system makes it easy to maintain my natural and I rarely have to refresh in the middle of the day. I am also glad the HR system is now offered at Breauty Brands so I dont have to wait for mail delivery to reup on products.

I recently big chopped a month ago after transitioning for a year. One goal that I wanted to accomplish with going natural was finding the least amount of hair products that made a big impact on my hair. Now, don't me wrong I've tried enough products and spent enough money but my hair, absolutely fell in love with Hair Rules. I have kinky-curly 4a hair and the minute I put the cleansing cream in my hair, it detangled and my fingers were literally slipping right through! Today I had the fastest wash, conditon and blow out experience ever in my natural hair experience all as a result of HR products. My hair is 4c with very tight coils so my shrinkage gives me grief but i've been so relieved to find your products since they work so well. Slippage and softness galore!! I wish you guys sold your products in Washington DC but hey hopefully it'll come soon. You guys have a loyal customer as my hair is so much manageable and soft!

I went to the Afro Punk event and got a free sample of the Hair rules quench utra rich conditioner, and hydrating finishing cream.
I decided to try it out on my son's curly sun bleached coper biracial spiral ringlets. His hair has been extremely dry from all of the swimming we did this summer. In just one use I noticed a great deal of difference. His hair was nicely conditioned soft and hydrated. We are going swimming again today and I am going to be certain to use the conditioner and finishing cream afterward. When school begins I am going to add hair rules products to my school supply list for sure!

I have used these products before and LOVED THEM. I tried other products and NOTHING COMPARES. Hair Rules does not leave your hair feeling sticky or crunchy like other products do. Also, the customer service is awesome. I was hesitant about communication via email, but they respond promptly. Julie was EXTREMELY helpful! I used to be addicted to the creamy crack. Now it's hair rules. This is a product line that nourishes all types of hair from various multicultural and ethnic backgrounds. I just wish they would offer free trials of other products or coupons. Other than that, I definitely recommend Hair Rules.
