I have used these products before and LOVED THEM. I tried other products and NOTHING COMPARES. Hair Rules does not leave your hair feeling sticky or crunchy like other products do. Also, the customer service is awesome. I was hesitant about communication via email, but they respond promptly. Julie was EXTREMELY helpful! I used to be addicted to the creamy crack. Now it's hair rules. This is a product line that nourishes all types of hair from various multicultural and ethnic backgrounds. I just wish they would offer free trials of other products or coupons. Other than that, I definitely recommend Hair Rules.

I went to the Afro Punk event and got a free sample of the Hair rules quench utra rich conditioner, and hydrating finishing cream.
I decided to try it out on my son's curly sun bleached coper biracial spiral ringlets. His hair has been extremely dry from all of the swimming we did this summer. In just one use I noticed a great deal of difference. His hair was nicely conditioned soft and hydrated. We are going swimming again today and I am going to be certain to use the conditioner and finishing cream afterward. When school begins I am going to add hair rules products to my school supply list for sure!

Today I had the fastest wash, conditon and blow out experience ever in my natural hair experience all as a result of HR products. My hair is 4c with very tight coils so my shrinkage gives me grief but i've been so relieved to find your products since they work so well. Slippage and softness galore!! I recently big chopped a month ago after transitioning for a year. One goal that I wanted to accomplish with going natural was finding the least amount of hair products that made a big impact on my hair. Now, don't me wrong I've tried enough products and spent enough money but my hair, absolutely fell in love with Hair Rules. I absolutely love the HR product line. I wore locs for 7 years and did the big chop about 2.5 mths ago. The gentleman used HR curly whip after he cut my hair and I remembered the product name. I came home and googled the product and found the HR website. I now use the whole line starting with the shampoo and finishing with the finishing cream. My hair is so soft and curly that i find myself constantly running my hands through it to feel the softness. i have experimented and learned when and how to use each of the products as I don't need to use the whole line everyday. It is wonderful, I am a natural type girl and am so happy that someone found a product that enables us curly hair sisters to be natural. I had to write to let you know what an amazing experience I had at Hair Rules yesterday. I had an appointment for a haircut and my original stylist did not come in and Dickey graciously stepped in. Dickey took the time to explain all the rules for maintaining my natural curly hair and introduced me to his colorist, Amy, who spent a great deal of time giving me tips on how to color my hair. We came all the way from Conn. to go to this salon. The reason we decided to come to New York was to give my daughter a birthday present she would not forget. I asked fellow employees and this was one of the salons that were mention with high reviews. This was going to be my daughter's very first haircut. Hair Rules cleanser, conditioner and curly whip loves my hair and I am thrilled to have found the perfect product line for me.
My point: I have been in search for the past 2 years, since moving back East, and finally found it…
My hair personality: and it does have a mind of its own… curly, long, dry and brittle on the ends tendency. I have grey so I color and highlight every-so-often to brighten. Other than that, we’re low maintenance. I wash and wear or put it in a bun, therefore my hair is ultimately healthy. It could use a trim/slight layering, but cutting even an inch results in three inches because of its curl and has frizz tendencies dependent upon climate.
Hair Rules product line makes my hair feel like butter; it hydrates and creates curl ringlet’s naturally… and the scent is fresh!
In my opinion, it’s scientifically perfected on every level signifying quality. If you have hair characteristics that need taming, I give it my highest recommendation.

Hair Rules products are by far the best I have ever tried. I don't mind paying for good product. I used to get a relaxer once every year or two just to relax my curls so I could control them. The last treatment was October of 2007 and I did the chop in 2009. It is all mine and almost below my chin. I love both kinky curling cream and curly whip. I especially like the curly whip for summer because I feel like it is a bit lighter than the kinky curling cream. I am mixed asian/black and I have coarse, wiry, kinky, frizzy, curly, thin hair! I find if I put on product on dripping wet hair, the better the curl pattern. I just ordered a hood dryer so I'm excited to see how that goes. I use the entire line from the shampoos to the finishing cream. I love the travel sizes too!

I have been natural for almost 3 years and I have had bad experiences with hairstylists. I had my hair straightened and trimmed last year November. Unfortunately, my hair was burned badly. I refused to see another hairstylist.
I went to Circle of Sisters and met your lovely reps and Jasmine convinced me of trying Hair Rules. I went today for my first hair cut all year. Dailey was my hairstylist and she was great. She showed me how to wash and condition my hair. She explained my texture and what will work for my hair. She used the daily cleansing cream, quench deep conditioner, nourishment leave conditioner, curly whip, and hydrating finishing cream. My natural curls look great! My hair feels so soft! I am very happy with the end result!
Before I left, I made two more appts with Dailey for the future. I plan to continue to get my hair trimmed every three months. I loved the way my hair feels and my experience at Hair Rules Salon!!!

I had been curious about the products and encountered the product booth at the circle of sisters expo here in NY. Your representative took her time to explain the products and suggested i wet my feet. My hair is coarse and very dry.Did i say very dry? I used the products and was instantly made a believer!! I am Caucasian and had thin, fine,stick-straight hair until I went through menopause 2 years ago. Now I have thin, fine, curly hair which I color. NEVER EVER has a cleanser detangled my hair PRE conditioner! I have spent so much money trying counter and salon products that made my hair dry, greesy, frizzy or sticky. I am a black female, some of my curls are crayon size and some of them are fatter (just depends on the day) I use the "curl" products from Dickeys’ collection and they absolutely do exactly what he said! My hair is FRIZZ FREE and my curls are very well defined. the styling products holds my curls but doesn’t leave them stiff and stale. This product doesn’t cost nearly as much as other salon brands, and it works better then any other product that I have tried. My co workers and family are now hooked as well! We all know HR rocks. I wanted to share a tip. Water. I have to apply in the shower for great results. The more water the more elongated. Then after applying I dip my hair under the shower for maximum elongation and curl. I wrap in a tee shirt for 30 to 45 min, and after maybe 20 min under a dryer, I'm done. Before this method of dipping under the shower and wrapping in tee shirt I was sitting under a dryer for 1.5 hours. Too much product. Now I get great definition, no crunch, no producty feel, and with such a short drying time I can shampoo whenever I want. I love you, Dickie.
Also I'd like to ask if Hair Rules would put up a forum. We are a very select group, and there's not a lot of info in the curly community on this product. We could share.

I am a 32 year old biracial women, mixed with Black and East Indian. Growing up my mom never knew what to do with my hair, so I never know what to do with it either. For a long time I didn't like my curls...I thought my hair was too big...too frizzy. Product after product promised to give me moisturized defined curls. Nothing worked. But I am determined so I kept trying. Finally I found Hair Rules! This product makes me want to love my curls...my uniqueness because it makes them so healthy. Even when I flat iron my hair it looks great! I live in Hampton Roads, VA and it can get very humid here...Well with this product the humidity doesn't even affect my hair!!! It is astounding!!!

I work at a beauty supply store and we were lucky enough to have two of your fabulous representatives come out and give us a class on your products. Now as a woman with relaxed (not curly, but kinky in-between relaxers) hair, I was at first thinking that these products would do nothing for my hair. But I received the Blow out your Kinks as a prize and I love it! When I tried the Nourishment Leave in Conditioner, I initially found it not moisturizing enough. But your wonderful ladies told me to try the Quench Conditioner then use the Leave in. I am absolutely hooked on this stuff now! Most leave in conditioners weigh my hair down, making it look terrible and hard. Using both products now leaves my hair so soft, shiny, bouncy, hydrated and it smells incredible! I had been wearing weaves for about a year and a half and when I started my hair was short and hadn't been relaxed for about 2 months. My girlfriend had gone to a hair show and heard about your products and said she was going to try them. Nothing works like yours do; i have really thick,curly hair and you keep it soft and silky with plenty of bounce.I use a combination of all the products and each one brings out a different kind of curl in my hair. Aloha! I have 4A hair and have been natural for 1 year now. I have used several products for 4A hair and have been doing the "cone free" thing. I have been co-washing, and using various oils, leave ins, and gels to define my curls from fuzzy to curly. Determined to not destroy my virgin hair, I read your book Hairrules and Curly Like Me by Teri Leflesh to devise a plan before committing. Both books CHANGED MY LIFE. I am now 6 months loose natural and LOVE MY HAIR. The Kinky Curling Cream is my winter essential as I can go about 7-10 days without having to wash and set it again.I prefer Curly Whip in the warmer seasons as it gets the job done nicely when I know I am washing my hair every 5-7 days. Who knew that wash and wear hair is actually a reality for us tight curlies! I love it when folks come up to me and swear that I have a texturizer and I let them down gently by explaining what it looks like when I don't use the curling creme. It took me a few sessions to truly understand Your meaning of product saturation.Once I perfected saturating the product on my water saturated hair and 15 minutes to dry the product clear with a diffuser attachment; the rest was SUPER EASY; consistent results every time just as you advertise. Gorgeous,soft, loopy defined curls that last up to 10 days (on my head) with just a morning spritz of water and a light finger fluff. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! WORTH EVERY PENNY! WOW! The cleansings cream smells wonderful. After using this product my hair felt so clean, smelled wonderful, and felt so oft and managable. My hair is normally very frizzy but, when i used hair rules it made my hair soft and took the frizz away in one use. My continual use of hair rules made my hair feel stronger. I absolutely love it!

I went into Ulta in Alpharetta to pick up items for my daughters homecoming when I say your products and display(by the way you need to have Ulta carry MORE of your products..they carry only a handful)and I decided to try it. I purchased the sample size curling cream and wanted the leave in, and quench but it wasn't available. Since I am a product junkie I love to try new things...I have natural hair been natural since 2002. My hair is tight not coarse. I bought a trial size from Ulta not really expecting a major difference...BUT I LOVE IT! went back and bought the big bottle and the Cleansing Cream. Keep up the Good Work!

My curls have you to thank, because I decided if I didn't like this product I would go ahead and just permanently straighten my hair because I'm sick of wasting so much money on products that don't work. Well, lucky for me and my curls we both fell in love with this stuff! I love how easy it is to apply, I mean it saves so much time being able to style my hair in the shower! I am so impressed with these products. I tried the small sizes at Ulta in hopes to find something that would help me with my 19 month old's kinky curly hair that is very thick and long. Your products are fabulous! After many years of searching for something that would get rid of my frizzy hair-I finally came across your products. Everything does what it says it will do! My curls are now defined, and may hair rarely gets frizzy - even in humid weather. I think my favorite product is the Mousse... it is amazing! Not heavey or sticky! Thank you for your wonderful products. Beyond that, your customer service is the best. There was an issue with an order. I emailed customer service, within a day, there was a response. Next day, the issue was resolved. It is not often that a company stands behind their service, with a smile! I would highly recommend these products, and this company to anyone!!!

I first was offered Hair Rules Leave In Conditioner from my friend who has been wearing her hair natural for years. I had a relaxer at the time with some new growth. I used it on my hair after swimming in the ocean (did I mention I was on the Oregon coast at the time). When my new grown hair began to ringlet on it's own, it put the rest of my hair to shame. I was then inspired to go natural. That was in August 2009, I cut all of my hair off in September and have been using Hair Rules since. I love it so much, and I can't wait until my hair grows out.

I have been completely natural for almost one month. I cut all of my relaxed hair out (after 6 months of braids) and am wearing a short afro. I received my order yesterday of the Kinky Curling Creme and excitedly tried it out last night. I have kinky 4B hair and I did not see the bouncy curls like the model in your instructional video. But after a few trial applications, I found that for me, use of the creme
without combing out the curls worked best. This type of application helped me to achieve a more defined, curly afro that still looks great after 8 hours. An added plus is that the kinky curling creme does not leave my hair sticky or gooey; yet it feels and looks softer and more
moisturized. I hope that you plan to offer sample sizes as I would
like to try the hydrating finishing creme as well. I would suggest use application videos with women with shorter, untexturized hair so that
regular folks could have a better idea of the results they could
expect. All in all, I am pleased with your product and will continue to use. Definitely worth the price!
